Just a place to pile and share stuff. And the occasional art.

I saw someone do a similar ‘shopping thing and I thought I’d try my hand at it just for experimentation’s sake.
Now, it’s not really the make up I had concerns about - all of my own FemSheps wear heavy makeup as well! I just wish they’d taken a more “experienced marine” route rather than a “she has to be pretty” route, you know? And come on, she’s what, 31, 32? Her default apperance is looking a mite younger than that. I just think it’d only be fair if she looked like she’d seen just as much battle as MaleShep.

Reblogging because it looks more realistic and believable while maintaining the original facial features. :)
EDIT: What I like most about the right version is that it actually looks like a facemodel that looks realistic compared to the very carefully modeled faces of other characters, like say Miranda, Samara or Jacob. The original one looks like it came out of a completely different game. I always admired the facemodels in the ME - series. The looked almost perfectly realistic, and in some moments you almost could believe that they were. That is an incredible achievement, especially considering that ME1 came out in what… 2007, 2008? And that default Femshep just doesn’t keep up to the very high standards that have been previously established. It looks generic, cartoonish and out of place. This isn’t even about feminity or the makeup, its just about a weird designchoice. Why would you give the main character a face that looks so out of place not only compared to other characters but also the situation and environment? That’s just bad characterdesign, nothing else. Also it is the difference in the designs when you compare MaleShep and FemShep. - He, a rugged experienced soldier that clearly has seen his share of combat, and she…. well, sexy, smooth, always a smirk on her lips, with heavy makeup and looking too young for her age. That is SEXIST people. Nothing else.
